There is a single tree and right next to it is a beautifully designed information board that reminds you of the location of a mill, the Lautermühle. It was probably due to the proximity to the border that the remains of the former mill finally disappeared from the scene in 1963/64. The initiator for the design of this historical memorial was almost four years ago Wolfgang Vey from Rieth with the support of his family. There are some interesting things to read about the history of the Lautermühle on the board, while old photos remind you of it.
