At an altitude of 1,588 meters, Pas de Peyrol is located between Puy Mary and Puy de la Tourte. It is known to be the highest road pass in the Massif Central and is worth it, because the last few kilometers have high percentages. There you can admire Puy Mary, which peaks at an altitude of 1,783 meters. It is one of the peaks of the Cantal mountains. It is easily recognizable with its pyramidal silhouette.

The Pas de Peyrol is always part of the Tour de France and it has it all as a pass of the first category! Especially the last few meters with inclines between twelve and 15 percent demand everything from you. When you arrive at the top, you will be richly rewarded: The panoramic view from the Puy Mary is terrific, there are refreshments and you are spoiled for choice for the descent: three streets meet up here at the pass.
