The Gaberkirche near Luden in Lower Austria is the best preserved remnant of the dilapidated Gaber Castle.
Gaber Castle, which was built around 1300, is reported to have been deserted in the 15th century. Since the best-preserved walls come from the former castle chapel, the term Gaberkirche has become common, which is also used on maps.
