    Chiar în sat se află izvorul mineral istoric din San Bernardino. Apa cristalină iese aici la suprafață de secole și poate fi încă proaspăt trasă astăzi. Merită o oprire scurtă – nu doar pentru istorie, ci și pentru o pauză răcoritoare la începutul sau la sfârșitul turului tău.

    Localitatea este situată la sud de Pasul San Bernardino, la o altitudine de 1600 de metri, la portalul sudic al tunelului San Bernardino, deschis în 1967, al autostrăzii A13. În San Bernardino se vorbește italiană. Prin San Bernardino curge râul Moësa, care își are izvorul la Laghetto Moesola, pe pasul San Bernardino.
