Ghana has a fascinating history of presidential vehicles, which speak not only to the country's political status but also to its technological advancement. Led by a stunning 1961 Cadillac, once owned by Kwame Nkrumah and gifted to him by John F. Kennedy, the splendor of the American automobile becomes a symbol of a new era.
Another notable car is the 1902 Gardner-Serpollet steam car, originally intended for the colonial governor. This early steam car marks the beginning of automotive history in Ghana, combining tradition with innovation.
