Probably due to the extremely lush plant life, the partially subtropical in the summer, humid climate and the many beautiful butterflies, dragonflies and many insects more this section was called "Amazon of the Eifel".
If you dive into the forest with a bit of fantasy, following the narrow, winding path through nature, you might have the impression that it must look exactly like this on the Amazon - just maybe a tiny bit more beautiful here in the Eifel ;-)
