The Eichsfeld - Land of the Red Kite - is located in the center of Germany between Harz, Werratal and Thuringian Forest. Brutal severed the German-German border this region, which has always distinguished itself by a special sense of togetherness. Meanwhile, the death zone on the Iron Curtain has become a paradise for nature.
