The Alsbach Valley near Niedernhausen is a scenic, wooded valley in the Taunus Mountains, through which the Alsbach stream flows. It lies west of Niedernhausen, near the border with Königstein, and is known for its natural surroundings, which are ideal for hiking and recreation. The Alsbach is a tributary of the Dattenbach, which in turn flows into the Schwarzbach.

Drumeție

A gently sloping valley carved by the Alsbach stream, from which it takes its name. It lies between Naurod-Erbsenacker and the Auringer Mill, descending in a southeasterly direction. Its northwestern end begins in a wooded area near Erbsenacker, not far from the edge of the forest and the last house. The southeastern end starts at the K59 district road and the Auringer Mill bus stop. Upon entering the small valley, one passes a few small (weekend) cottages.
