Due to the persistent rainfall, several mudslides occurred in this valley. Access routes were buried. The valley should be avoided in heavy rain. Status 26.05.2024

Mudslide... a mass of rock, mud and rubble that is quickly washed down the mountain by large amounts of water and can cause great devastation. On our hike up Höhnig, we had to go through a section like this, which, however, also offered nice, cool water in the high temperatures. In the meantime, of course, it was just a beautiful stream.
