This is a nice little shortcut and forms part of the Linacre circuit. If heading from Loads Road head for the post in the field before turning left and enjoying a short but sweet downhill section to join Harewood Road. Be aware cows are often in the field they are lovely but the path can get really cut up.

Ciclism

Ridden north to south, go through the farm gate and across the field. It's hard to see the exact path but there are a couple of waymarkers to look out for. Once you're across the field, the track becomes much more obvious as it descends through the woods to Harewood Lane. The descent is a bit rocky in places but it's managable on a gravel bike and it's worth it for the lovely views.

Part of the Linacre Classic route, perfect description above, the field is wet & boggy in winter and you are so high up and exposed it does catch the wind making it a little hard going.
