Quattro Canti is a square framed by baroque architecture in the historic center of Palermo. It is located at the intersection of two traffic axes, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda. The buildings on all four corners are among the outstanding works of Baroque architecture in Palermo. Directly adjacent is the fascinating Piazza Pretoria with impressive churches and the famous Fountain of Shame.

Quattro Canti (Piazza Vigliena). Although small in size, one of the most famous or perhaps the most famous square in Palermo. At the heart of the square's construction is the number 4, which is a powerful symbol in culture and religion. It is situated at the intersection of four historical districts of the city, to which are assigned four baroque palaces delineating the four directions of the world, four geographic directions. On the facade of the palaces there are four sculptures personifying the four seasons, the four Spanish kings of Sicily and the four patron saints of Palermo.
