The Gorge of the Dead (Greek: Φαράγγι Νεκρών Farángi Nekrón), also known as the Gorge of Zakros (Φαράγγι Ζάκρου Farángi Zákrou) or Valley of the Dead, lies below the town of Zakros, west of the Minoan palace near Kato Zakros in eastern Crete.
