The parish church of St. Peter shapes the cityscape like no other building. Their striking twin towers greet you from afar and are reflected in the city lake, in the immediate vicinity of which the church was built on a gravel ridge. You will find many churches with two towers, but the angular arrangement on the magnificent west facade is rare if not unique.
