Wolf Rock is a lovely place to sit and catch your breath. The rock is in the shape of a wolf, hence the name, and is part of the Weverton Formation, deposited as sand 550 million years ago.

The better views are slightly further down the path at Chimney Rock, but this is still worth a visit.
