With a height of 20 meters, the Nuremberg Tower is the central rock of the climbing rocks above Würgau near Scheßlitz. The best view of it is from the Kreuzstein / Bayreuth wall. A true sea of rocks of about a dozen rock massifs is here. Incidentally, from here you can see the rocks: Nuremberg Tower, Gewitterriß, Fermeda, Würgauer Wand and Bamberger Turm.

In the surroundings of Würgau there are several climbing possibilities: the Bamberger Turm, the Bayerl memorial wall, the Bayreuther Wand, the Edelweißwand, the Fiechtlwand, the Frankenwand and the Würgauer Wand. The most important climbing destination is the 1909 first conquered freestanding tower Nuremberg.
