After the Protestant population of Tiefenbronn slowly increased at the end of the 19th century, the first plans and a cost estimate for the construction of the church were submitted to the Protestant High Church Council in Karlsruhe in 1897.

One year later, in 1898, construction of the church began and it was finally ceremoniously inaugurated a year later in 1899. The church was built in the neo-Gothic style. The tower is located directly above the entrance and contains two bells. One bell was lost in each of the two world wars, and these were replaced in 1925 and 1955.

The Protestant Peace Church was inaugurated in 1899 and consists of a sandstone building that is worth seeing. The building was designed in the neo-Gothic style and contains beautiful stained glass windows with stained glass.
