Mountain bike
Fossfjörður is one of the side fjords of Arnarfjörður. It is the westernmost of the so-called “Suðurfirðir”, the South Fjords. In Fossfjörður there is a farm called Foss and a waterfall with the same name – Foss, which means “waterfall”. So in the Waterfall Fjord you will find a farm called “Waterfall” as well as a waterfall called “Waterfall”.

On road 63 you will pass directly by this beautiful waterfall. The surrounding landscape forms a grandiose backdrop for this beautiful natural spectacle. Simply breathtaking. By the way: Foss means waterfall in Icelandic.
