The Flora Temple on the south side of Lake Louisa, created in 1909 with Flora, the goddess of spring and flowers, is today one of the most romantic places in Bad Elster.
The bronze statue, formerly created by the renowned sculptor Peter Pöppelmann, fell victim to World War II. In 1994 a new Flora statue was created based on a template by the sculptor Ernst Julius Hähnel from 1842. Elsteraner donors enabled their casting in a local art foundry. The unveiling ceremony took place on September 13, 1997.

Here, in the immediate vicinity of the Flora Temple, you can take a short rest, there are enough benches. You have a good view of the gondola pond and the Flora Temple.
