Cycling on the Seseke

A lot has changed at the Seseke in recent years. A new path by the water is evidence of this change. From Bönen to Lünen, the LIPPEVERBAND has created the Seseke-Weg foot and cycle path, which invites you to explore the charming landscape around and by the river.

There is an information board on the cycle bridge over the Seseke, in the area before it flows into the Lippe, that shows the course of the water over time. It is interesting to be reminded once again of how much people have repeatedly intervened in the nature and topography of the landscape, particularly for economic reasons.
