Villa Turconi, attributed to the architect Carlo Francesco Silva from Morbio Inferiore, is one of the most beautiful buildings among those that arose in the district in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

The building with two floors upstream and three with the kitchen and cellars downstream, develops around a large polygonal hall of honor which occupies almost the entire width and from which the internal entrances start. The hall and five of the rooms around it are decorated with painted coffered ceilings and bands of frescoes.

The imposing rectangular building, which stands out against the slope of the hill, has two floors upstream and three floors (including service rooms) downhill, where two slightly overhanging side wings enclose a terrace on arches (under which there was a fake cave in tuff and mosaic eliminated during the restoration of the 1960s), from which you can enjoy a wide panorama of the Mendrisiotto. The slope slopes in terraced crags; However, almost nothing remains of the original park.
