Finds from the time of the Neanderthals, grave goods from old megalithic tombs, one of the oldest boats in the world and mysterious bog bodies: The Drents Museum in Assen is a treasure chest for anyone who wants to learn about the history of this region. But the collection of contemporary realists and the exciting temporary exhibitions are always worth a visit.
