With a length of more than 5 km and a width of up to 1.2 km, Mahon has the largest natural harbor in the Mediterranean Sea and the second largest in the world.
The long harbor entrance is also home to four islands that were used in different ways, e.g. B. one as a hospital, one as a quarantine island. At the very top lies a fortress, 'La Mola'.
Sightseeing tours are also offered from the port, which are highly recommended.

Mahon Harbor is the second largest natural harbor in the world after Sydney in Australia. Nowadays people go to the Café Baixamar, "down to the sea", for pleasure. The harbor mile not only offers a constantly increasing gastronomic offer, but also a wide range of boutiques and shops of all kinds.
