The Groppenbrucher Bridge was built in 1957 as a steel arch bridge and has the bridge number 10. The Königsheide road (L 654) runs from Dortmund-Mengede to Lünen-Brambauer on the 12.62 meter wide bridge with a span of 60 meters. The bridge, which has two lanes and a footpath on both sides, leads over the Dortmund-Ems Canal at canal kilometer 7.832. It is operated by the Duisburg-Meiderich Waterways and Shipping Authority.
