Not many people know the small town Breetze between Bleckede and Neetze, and yet it has something few places have to offer: around 100 heavy chunks brought to this region from Scandinavia some 65,000 years ago. The force of the ice, which at that time covered northern Europe, landed millions of large and small boulders here. In the Breetzer Findlingsgarten they can - now freshly polished and provided with information boards - admired, admired and even touched.

The boulder garden is located on a small slope on the outskirts of the small village of Breetze. There you will find many different types of boulders, which are arranged in a circle in two rows. There are also small signs that tell you what type of rock the boulder is.
