This imposing wall structure, located a few steps from the Arno river, tells the thousand-year history of the city. The Bastioni San Giorgio offers a spectacular view of the old city, giving a breathtaking glimpse of its architectural treasures, such as the famous Leaning Tower. Walking along the walls, I can imagine past battles and the strategic importance of this defensive fortress. It is a perfect place to enjoy a peaceful stroll, admiring the harmony between Pisa's history and beauty.
