Ciclism

The castle ruins are a nice destination or a great stopover. The old walls have a lot to tell, sometimes with bloodthirsty history, as the fortress was located in a strategically important place at the time. So both the Swedes and the Danes and Norwegians were interested in it and besieged it again and again.

The fortress can be visited. The exact opening times can be found on the castle website: bohusfastning.com/de/visit-us/fuhrung.

The fortress looks inconspicuous from the outside, but is very interesting inside. So definitely go in and bring some time.
