It would be nice to suggest a starting point, eg Kloster Oberschönenfeld, Burgwalden Golf Course, Wellenburg (with beer garden). In the area are some trails that offer (steep, short, crisp from the monastery), flat, rooty, right along the fish pond in Burgwalden, etc., Refreshments in Engelshof (on weekends) or in Burgwalden, or in Wellenburg. This can be a great round trip put together.
If you come from the Wertach, you can also stop in Gnadental (restaurant with garden, good food), ...

The Scheppacher Chapel, located in the middle of the forest two kilometers east of the Gessertshauser district of Döpshofen, is a protected architectural monument.
The small prayer house is closely linked to the history of the hamlet of Scheppach, which was once located here. The Oberschönenfeld monastery had a chapel built there in 1601. Abbess Walburga Schüßler furnished the building with an image of Our Lady from the 15th century.
