When we were there, the herd of monkeys made a hell of a noise. The whole thing was really loud and sounded pretty scary. We've been told they do this to strengthen clan bonds and a sense of togetherness. Seems to be true, too, because when they finished shouting, they were hugged and petted deeply.

The monkeys are on the loose! In the Fota Wildlife Park you can observe our close relatives in as natural a habitat as possible. You could stay here forever.
