Blomberg was once a pilgrimage for a short time. And that was how it came about: a woman named Alheyd Pustekoke, who had stolen consecrated Hostas from the Martini Church in 1460 and thrown them into a fountain in the 'Blissful Angels', was convicted and burned at the stake for punishment. Supposedly the hosts did not go down. From the fountain went from then on miraculous. For decades he attracted pilgrims. The revelation ended with the Reformation.
