Bodenstein Castle, located above Wintzingerode, has a history dating back around 1,000 years. Well-preserved and restored, it is one of the jewels of the Eichsfeld region. The forest surrounding the castle offers picturesque hiking trails.

The castle courtyard is only accessible to guests 😏, but you won't be arrested for looking at the beautiful inner courtyard.
