Inspired by the AK history, the hail cross became visible again. In a joint campaign with the Neuss-Nordstadt advertising district, weeding, cutting and replanting were carried out, while Steinmetz Kuhn worked on the cross. Completed by benches, a new quality of stay was created here as well.

Unfortunately, my picture with explanations about the cross is extremely difficult to read ..... Hope there is someone who can adjust a better picture ....

Not far from the railway line and Morgensternheide is the Hail Cross monument. Since the 8th century, people have prayed at the cross to protect fields from hail.

The Hagelkreutz used to be a regular station of the Corpus Christi procession. At a time when believers are fleeing the Church in droves because they are outraged by the outrages of the clergy instead of realizing what they are doing.
Nevertheless, the Hagelkreuz is a contemplative place of contemplation that always invites you to pray.
Especially in such stormy times. Worth a visit anytime
