The Niederlimberg rock caves are located at the entrance to Wallerfangen, when you come from Dillingen on the right-hand side. The chain link fence has a few holes so you can get back in there. Unfortunately, I was wearing shorts and because of the nettles I didn't go in but only took a few photos from the outside.

When driving past in the car I saw that they had mowed at the Niederlimberg rock caves. Hoping to see a little more now, I hiked there today through a light drizzle. Unfortunately, only the small cave with the portrait has been exposed. All other caves are unfortunately still not accessible and can only be guessed by looking closely. Chain link fences and other undergrowth unfortunately prevent access to the caves. Very, very unfortunate 😢

Was there again this evening because I discovered a hole in the fence. So you come into one of the rooms, but the other access has been concreted. Apparently someone has punched holes in the wall so that one can see further inside. A slim person will probably fit through the holes.
