The Grenzweg in Ahrenshoop is today the border between Ahrenshoop and the district Althagen. It leads from the Bäderstraße directly to the Baltic Sea and is therefore of great interest because it represents the border between Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania. At the end of the path to the Baltic Sea, there is a beautiful viewing platform with a wonderful view of the west beach and the open sea.

The Grenzweg in Ahrenshoop leads from the Bäderstraße directly to the Baltic Sea and is therefore of great interest because it represents the former border between Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Vorpommern. The path is well laid out for pedestrians and cyclists. The viewing platform on the Baltic Sea offers a wonderful view. Here is also the picture "Blick auf Ahrenshoop" by Paul Müller-Kempf 1890 was created. The viewing platform is point 2 of the Ahrenshoop art trail.
