Great starting point for tours. Those who are here instead of MTB with gravel can burn down the eternally long descent towards Tiers, those who come from there can strengthen themselves here before going to the Karer Pass.

Welcome opportunity to stop. If you are traveling by mountain bike, you should be aware that the paths are partially no longer to be found by forestry work to eliminate the storm damage. Often only the road is possible as a path.

The Niger Pass road is usually much quieter than the nearby Karer Pass. The mountain inn is located right at the top of the pass, with a view of the Schlern and Rosengarten.
The Niger Pass is particularly recommended when coming from the Karersee direction. The pass road from St. Zyprian is considered to be one of the steepest in the Dolomites.
