    The Maudacher Bruch is an arm of the Old Rhine that was separated long ago and has meadows, swamps and jungle. It's a landscape you wouldn't expect near an industrial city.

    Today's protected landscape area "Maudacher Bruch" is a former arm of the Old Rhine that was separated from the Rhine around 900 BC.
