During the DDr time, the forest was a training area for the GSSD / WGT. It has even been noted in the files by the State Security that these areas were simply used for training purposes without prior consultation. Most of the probably simply built bunkers and trenches have been removed, some heaps of broken concrete can be seen and pipes peek out from the edges. Approximately at the marked point one more is preserved, trashed and clogged.
