The jetty is about 800 meters long and leads from the refuge to the lookout tower. Some information boards at the wooden footbridge inform about the Red Moor (renaturation, animals and plants).

Experience nature differently, lots of information about the bog along the way, lookout tower over the moor. There is a circular route around the whole Red Moor, about 19 kilometers, very beautiful nature reserve, sturdy shoes. Good entrance at the parking Moordorf. At the parking lot there is the NABU house, where you can reward yourself with baked cakes, delicious coffee and little things to eat there. Opening hours from 11.00-17.00.
