The stork tower is the symbol of Nittenau and is owned by the city together with the outbuilding. Today there is a pharmacy in the building next to the stork tower, which used to be a prison. The stork tower has burned down several times in the past and has been rebuilt.

The stork tower with the stepped gable is the landmark of Nittenau. It was mentioned as early as 1644 and probably has Gothic origins. Burned down several times and rebuilt it has a moving history.
