One of the oldest bridges over the Eindhoven Canal.
Previously, cars were also allowed to cross it, but it has been a bicycle bridge for more than 20 years.

Bridge: Not protected, but worth mentioning are the 2 remaining original bridges at the Goorsedijk and the Oudvensestraat near Helmond. These bicycle bridges were replaced by new ones in 2012 by order of the municipality of Eindhoven, while maintaining the authentic style.

This canal was dug from 1843-1846 on behalf of and funded by the city of Eindhoven. Its length is 13.9 kilometers. Business parks of Eindhoven, Geldrop, Mierlo, and Helmond are located on this canal. The Kleine Dommel and the Goorloop go under with a diver.
