Suddenly, out of nowhere, this beautiful beach appears just before the fork. On hot days, the lake offers well-deserved refreshment.

The stand and the "lagoon" looks so out of place, you wonder briefly whether you have landed in the South Pacific.
The question of whether it is the best (of the many possible) bathing spots is at least one is perhaps not as alone as elsewhere, since a fork in the road is not too far away.
