One of the most beautiful markets in Poland. It's unbelievable that at the moment nothing is functioning on the market (05.2024), There is nowhere to eat, no bar, restaurant, cafe and people. It is so beautiful and at the same time so sad that you would like to help somehow. How? Despite this, you must definitely visit this place. Currently (05.2024) the illumination of the tenement houses around the market is being installed, so the atmosphere will probably be just as amazing in the evening. Atmospheric old town marketplace with impressive Renaissance 17th century Town Hall and tenement houses, a highlight of which is the Golden Lion Hotel ("Hotel pod Złotym Lwem"), built in 1711. Nearby Odra embankment has some lovely views to the river and beyond.
