On the rocky summit of the 706 meter high Schwarzwihrberg stands the well-preserved ruins of Schwarzenburg. Although the castle was destroyed by the Swedes in the Thirty Years War, today it is again maintained and maintained by an association. The renovated keep is open and from its viewing platform offers you a unique panorama of the surrounding hills. In the upper courtyard, the club also operates a cozy mountain lodge, which is open on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays.
