The Cheibehore (2,102 m) is a lesser-known but impressive peak near the Stockhorn, perfect for anyone who wants to get off the beaten track.
🥾 Hike:
Start: Can be reached from the Chrindi or Vorderstockenalp middle station 🚡
Duration: Approx. 3-4 hours (there and back)
Difficulty: Moderately difficult, with steeper passages – surefootedness and fitness are required ⚠️

Peace & solitude: Less frequented than the Stockhorn – perfect for nature lovers 🌿
Panorama: Breathtaking view of Lake Thun, Niesen and the Bernese Alps 🏞️

The Cheibehore is a real insider tip. The climb is shorter than to the Stockhorn, and it also offers a beautiful view of the Hinterstocken and Oberstockensees. Another plus is that you don't encounter large crowds of tourists, as is the case on the Stockhorn.
