Ciclism
Fort Napoleon, a pentagonal military fortress by the sea in Ostend, is now a modern museum. The exhibition tells the story of the fort in a lively way. If you have the time and inclination, definitely recommended.
The brasserie in the museum has a lovely terrace with a view of the sea and is ideal for a short break. More information, opening hours, etc. on fort-napoleon.be

Ciclism
Remains of a fortress from the 18th century. Because Napoleon feared an attack from the English, he had this imposing fortress built in the dunes. Now the fortress serves as a museum about the evolution of European fortification and the Siege of Ostend.

Fort Napoleon is a military fortification built under Napoleon and which now houses a museum and a restaurant. The short visit will delight enthusiasts, but the outside look alone is worth the detour.
