The most common route to Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp is an approximately 8-mile (13 km) hike from Tuolumne Meadows Lodge. While not overly steep, the distance requires a good level of fitness.

While the hike directly to Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp is moderate, once at the camp, there are opportunities for shorter, less strenuous explorations around the scenic pool of the Tuolumne River and to the nearby White Cascade and Tuolumne Falls. For true beginner trails, you might find more options closer to Tuolumne Meadows before embarking on the longer trek to Glen Aulin.
