Mountain bike

If you don't want to be part of mass tourism, you're in good hands here. I often use the routes around the Wehebachtalsperre on long weekends or Sundays, because the North Eifel Nature Park is often overcrowded then. Another advantage is the condition of the paths. They are easy to ride even after a long period of rain. However, single trails are a real rarity in the area. One highlight is definitely the large beaver dams on the Rote Wehe.

There can then be fixed sweaty clothes changed

There is also a disabled room

or the water bottle to be refilled

or just wash your hands 👍

The Wehebach Dam was built in the 1980s and serves as a flood protection and drinking water supply for the region. The Wehebach Dam is fed by several streams, including the Wehebach, which gives it its name.

From the dam wall, you have a magnificent view of the lake. Swimming and boating are prohibited, however.
