The Lenthe Church was donated to the village in 1394 by the von Lenthe family. It was dedicated to the martyrdom of the 10,000 knights, a legend about killed crusaders.
The altar that depicts this is now in the Northen Chapel.
The Lenthe Church now belongs to the Protestant parish of Gehrden.
