There was also the "Seestadtl" (Ervěnice) on the right bank of the Biela (Bílina). Unfortunately, both the lake landscape and the city fell victim to the open-cast lignite mine from the 1950s, which completely devastated large areas of the North Bohemian Basin.
Today only the "Ervěnický koridor", a huge railway and road dam through the "opencast mine of the Czechoslovak Army" (lom Československé armády) between Chomutov and Most, reminds of the former city.
