The church was designed by master builders Sylwester Wasiluk and Łukasz Prokopiuk; it was built under their supervision in 1868. It was expanded in 1898 (due to the establishment of an independent parish in Kuraszewo the previous year) and after 1941, when a bell tower was added. The church is located in the local Orthodox cemetery. From 1925 to 1932, it belonged to the Neo-Uniate Church, but was returned to the Orthodox parish by court order. The building is a wooden log structure, oriented toward the east. A covered porch adjoins the entrance. The porch is preceded by a vestibule. The nave is octagonal in plan. The chancel is rectangular in plan with two side sacristies. Above the porch is a two-story bell tower (quadrangular at the bottom, octagonal above), topped with a pyramidal tin dome with a cupola. The church roofs are sheet metal. Above the nave is an octagonal roof topped with a turret with a dome. Above the chancel is a single-ridge roof with a cross.
