There's a path in the nature reserve (actually, several small ones). The "real" walking path runs along the edge and is also beautiful (though you won't encounter any eager horses).

Since the end of 2024, this area has been expanded with a series of adjacent slopes on the Haspengouw plateau of Beauvechain. Hazenberg is located on the border of Flanders and Wallonia, but also on the border between the Haspengouw Loam Plateau and Hageland. Here, a dry, structurally rich and species-rich grassland with wastes is being developed on a series of sloping plots. Forest expansion is underway adjacent to the sunken roads and the existing woodlands.
